Tracy Barrett Adams
Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified HypnoBirthing® Instructor
Instructor: HypnoBirthing, Breastfeeding & Baby Basics, HypnoMothering
Tracy devotes about a third of her practice to childbirth education, where she loves introducing families to tools that will help them make the most of their birth experiences. As a mother of four grown kids, birth assistant (doula), and veteran HypnoBirthing instructor, Tracy is intimately familiar with the real-world challenges of labor and birth, and she’s thoroughly committed to equipping birthing couples to move through their experience with calm, relaxed engagement.
Another third of Tracy’s practice is dedicated to seeing clients one-on-one. Tracy specializes in medical hypnosis for chronic pain and migraine, insomnia and anxiety, and she also enjoys working with clients on resolving issues with eating, confidence, and sports performance. The remainder of Tracy’s time is focused on training practitioners in medical hypnotherapy (she’s a certified trainer for the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association), and developing an online platform for medical hypnosis.
The enhancement hypnosis can bring to the mind-body connection is something Tracy has experienced personally, and she’s delighted to have an opportunity to introduce her clients to this powerful tool. To learn more about Tracy’s private practice, visit her website: www.CornerstoneHypnotherapy.com.

Kira co-founded Seattle HypnoBirthing with Tracy, and is now taking an extended sabbatical from teaching to spend more time with her family. Kira trained in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy through the Institute for Therapeutic Learning in Seattle. She began her practice in London and is thrilled to now be working in her home town. She first discovered the Mongan Method when her best friend became pregnant and asked for her help in the birthing room. Kira has since given birth to twins using all of the HypnoBirthing techniques she teaches in class. As a hypnotherapist, she finds it incredibly exciting to be a part of life changes for others, and never tires of watching people release old habits, fears, or past pain, giving them the tools to change for life.
